General Size Guide - Womens Shoes

Please note, Australian (AU) and USA (US) sizes are the same, eg. an AU7 = US7.

STEP 1. Check out the shoes already in your wardrobe .. if most of them are one size, you'll more than likely be that size in she wear too.

STEP 2. Read the Size & Fit Information tab on the style you are eyeing off. We share our expert tips there on width and fit for total peace of mind purchasing (length is only half the story!). Keep in mind if your shoes are a men's fit - that's a completely different sizing system.

STEP 3. Have a mix of shoe sizes? Measure the length of your foot and compare it to the chart below. Measuring sounds simple but there's a few tricks to getting it right, especially if you're unsure about width .. this quick video shows you how. Built around female specific foot mechanics, Trek supports long walks, uneven terrain and everyday outdoor use, while delivering reliable waterproof protection for its intended conditions. She’s equally at home on daily dog walks, school runs and travel days when you need extra ankle support and stability underfoot.

Important information about waterproof use ..

Trek is waterproof by construction and lab testing, and is designed to keep feet dry during everyday outdoor conditions such as puddles, wet ground, light rain and damp trails.

Trek is built for walking and light hiking, and is not intended for prolonged immersion, water crossings or heavier alpine conditions. Its waterproof performance is aligned with its purpose .. delivering comfort, flexibility and support for everyday outdoor adventures rather than expedition level use.

As with all footwear, waterproof performance may reduce over time with wear and exposure. The outer treatment and internal waterproof membrane are designed to provide protection appropriate to Trek’s intended walking and light hiking use, but ongoing performance depends on use, care and conditions.

This considered design allows us to prioritise comfort, support and all day wear .. and to price Trek honestly and fairly.

If you’re looking for a heavy duty alpine or expedition boot designed for tougher conditions, Trek may not be the right choice.

If you want a supportive, well built walking and hiking boot for weekend adventures .. Trek is for you.
Care & Cleaning

Regular care of your shoes and boots has multiple advantages. 

It will give you maximum footwear performance, will keep your shoes in top-top condition to ensure proper support and comfort (and not to mention safety), and will extend the lifespan of your shoes.

TO CLEAN MESH & MICROFIBRE SUEDE

Gather supplies: Soft brush, mild soap, soft cloths, waterproofing spray and bowl of water.
Brush off dirt: Use a soft brush or cloth to gently remove dirt and dust from the surface being careful not to snag the knit.
Prepare cleaning solution: Mix mild soap with water and dip the cloth into the solution and gently clean the shoe (do not oversaturate). Wipe off any soap residue.
Dry properly: Pat the shoes with a dry cloth and let them air dry away from direct heat.
Protect: Once dry, apply a waterproofing spray to shield against future stains and water damage.
Store correctly: Store shoes in a cool, dry place.

    Best walking boots

    I bought these shoes because I'm going overseas next year and will be doing a lot of walking, and I have had some problems with my shoes on past trips. I bought them with plenty of time to wear them in and get used to them. When they arrived in the mail, I tried them on after a long day on my feet, and my feet were swollen and sore. These boots made my feet feel like I could do another day of walking on their first try!

    I have been wearing them for a few hours each day for the last week. I wore them all day for the first time, and I have had no issues. The sole is cushioned in the heel, and I didn't end up with the sore back from standing most of the day that I often get. 100% recomend if you need walking shoes, their support is beyond any shoes I ever had.

    Making walking a breeze!

    After suffering from a swollen and very sore ankle due to tendonitis (and refusing to give up my daily 5km bush walk with my three dogs), I searched the internet for shoes that might work for me. I was hesitant buying online but trusted the reviews and I am glad I did! I have walked about 50km in them now and my ankle pain has subsided by quite a bit. They are true to size, comfortable and easy to get on while wrangling two dachshunds and a collie. They have also proven water-resistant over wet grass and shallow puddles.

    My Trek order arrived in 4 days. These are comfy boots to be in all day from straight out of box. I suffer pain in balls of my feet with other brands too tight across toe & bridge, these ones spot on for my foot.
